Our office met with Nick Miller-Jacobson on several occasions to assist with our office move. I found Nick to be professional and very well versed on the property. His assistance was invaluable to our search. Thank you, Nick.
Do not work with Nick. Highly unprofessional! My business partner and I feel completely disrespected! We toured an office space that was the perfect fit for us. After touring we sent Nick an email of our questions regarding the leasing process and potential room updates (the basics, painting and carpeting - also offering to cover the cost & labor). We were upfront with sharing our credit scores, as we understood it could prevent us from leasing. In the email response, we were told due to our credit, we would have to pay the 1 year lease in two installment payments. This was not an issue for us; so we sent a follow up email with a second list of questions! We were then ignored for 4 days. On day 4, I sent Nick a text, to confirm he received my email. Again, we were ignored. After almost a week of no communication, we called him directly. Nick was condescending to my business partner. Making remarks "Oh, I know, I get it, it's hard in your field," and "well, can you even afford this?". This was a slap in the face! We are both successful in our career fields, as well as, currently leasing an office space! We feel if we were men we would have not been treated this way! He said he would respond to the email, after the call. But you guessed it, he did not reply. At this point, we understood he was not going to lease to us. So we moved on. Yet, after a week from the previous interaction, he calls. Nicks voicemail was unnecessary! He shared the reason the owner would not lease to us was due to our credit being an issue. Mind you, in the only email response, it was stated that due to our credit the lease would have to be paid in two installments. It was never an immediate NO to leasing. We feel cheated out of the space we were ready to set roots in. Overall, this was a terrible experience!!!
I hired Tim Albro to find a buyer for my commercial property. He did so and we got it sold in less then 9 months. Great job. I highly recommend.
