Steve Donahue was the broker involved in my search for a commercial space for my retail store. I was relatively new to the leasing process and trusted him, as a seasoned agent, to guide me honestly. The process was a very smooth one. Communication was good, I found a decent spot that checked all the boxes. I signed the lease after a relatively lengthy lease review process, making sure I covered my bases. I move into my space, then a month after I sign the lease they start breaking ground on a construction project in the parking lot that was top priority in finding an appropriate space. My consignment business caters to new and expectant families who are carrying large items and small children simultaneously. Turns out, they’re building a giant hotel RIGHT in my parking lot in a super unnatural position. I never would have guessed there would be development there. Steve failed to mention this massive project that was about to happen over the course of the two months we were working together. The construction has since been very disruptive to the parking situation and 2.25 years later they still aren’t done with it. Really disappointing, deceptive and unfortunate (for me). Two stars because I’m nice and everything else was great. But will definitely avoid using them ever again.
