Brokerage Reviews

I highly recommend Beth Atkinson of Metro Group Brokers. She interacts professionally with all involved in the process of selling a home to include not only her client but home inspectors, appraisers, and ancillary service providers as well. As a result, her client is assured of making a satisfying peace-of-mind buying decision. Top notch!
Just had a horrible experience with real estate agent Renee Mcgee. I'm a military veteran with a home for sale, For Sale By Owner, and was "told" this morning by said agent that she was going to show my home tomorrow at a VERY specific time. I asked her for clarification, as I have renters with a young child and didn't want to bother them unless there was a pre-qualified/serious buyer. I told her I would contact my renters to try and see if that time period worked for my renters. I asked was the hour she gave me the only time she could do for that day (my renters has all of Thursday off so I was hoping to try and set up a secondary time so as not to put my renters out). I told her that it's kinda last minute, but I would see what my renters can do. She "informed" me that she had 10 other houses and that if I couldn't make her time frame work she would *paraphrasing here "move on to the other houses" dismissing mine (I'm just guessing here...maybe because it's a FSBO she's feeling the need to be rude?) So, I tell Ms Mcgee that I'll get ahold of my renters and see if they can work with the hour on Wednesday that she informed me was the only time she had. I text my renters, ask if they could be home for the hour requested and have the home "show ready". Within 5 minutes of calling me and demanding to show my home, Ms. Mcgee calls me back and cancels the showing (I've already texted my renters at this time, waiting for a response from them). I ask in frustration "are you cancelling because your buyers don't want to see it. Or because you don't want to show it?" She snarls back at me that the house would be a "problem sale". I asked why, and she informed me that I was "difficult". I had to laugh...seriously? I had her on speaker phone, where my husband was listening to the whole "conversation". He AND I were blown away by the unprofessionalism that this "agent" showed me. Being respectful of my renters with their small child is FAR from being difficult, it's called being respectful of their time and their home. Something Ms. Mcgee should do well to learn. Would that agent act this way if I had a realtor representing me? Is she this way because I'm trying to sell my home "by owner" and not through her? I truly apologize to her buyers, because they are dealing with what I can only imagine is an agent who is massively unprofessional and rude, and intentionally NOT showing homes because they're FSBO's that she won't make as much money off of. Finally, I'd like to add that I'll be posting on all my social media how awful this agent is, and the fact that she represents your company...don't forget social networking is a great way to tell everyone who NOT to use when it comes to OKC real estate... Respectfully
Beth has sold 3 of my homes, I highly recommend her as a real estate agent. She is very professional and very communicative! Thanks Beth!
