If I could give -10 stars I would! My Husband and I relocated from California and we are extremely grateful that we had an amazing realtor and didn't end up with an unethical realtor like Jerry Peterson. Jerry Peterson was the listing agent for a house we were under contract for. We were under contract due to false information provided by Jerry. The house had tenants and Jerry notified our agent that the tenants were cooperative and were willing to move out before their lease was over. While we were in contract, Jerry stopped communicating with our agent and with the tenants. The tenants were under the impression that they were going to be bought out of their lease and were expecting $9k. Jerry ignored their calls and text messages, he also ignored our agent. Our agent had to communicate with tenants to find a solution because Jerry basically said they were our problem. We had to terminate the contract due to him not working things out or even communicating with tenants. We decided to place a bid on a different house. The listing agent was Shelly (Jerry's wife) we thought that maybe this was their opportunity to "do right by us" and communicate properly. Jerry took over most of the communication. We were FHA home buyers and Jerry was acting as if he never worked with FHA loans. He refused to fix anything with the house that needed to be fixed in order to pass FHA inspections and he refused to give any kind of credits for needed repairs. As an agent he did not educate his client (seller) of what FHA entails. He then requested documentation stating such repairs were needed. We payed for a home inspection, appraisal and provided all necessary paperwork. He refused to install something as simple as a smoke detector in the house. Jerry then stopped commenting us again and we even got our loan officer involved so she could provide FHA information and answer any questions. Jerry wasted our time ( a total of almost 3 months) and our money that we can't get refunded for (over $2k on inspections and appraisals for 2 different homes). We ended up terminating that second contract as well. Luckily our agent was able to find us a fitting home through a different company. We have filed an official complaint with the Wyoming Real estate commission and certified appraisal board against Jerry's license. Every person we have spoken to that has dealt with Jerry has expressed how unethical and unprofessional he is. Makes me wonder how many things he's been getting away with until now!
My husband and I started looking for a house in 2016. Spoke with a few realtors around town until we spoke with Shelley at the Acre Company. She was very lovely and helped us find the right home for our family. Even after helping us buy our first house she has kept in touch to continue making sure we are satisfied! I stopped in the office a few times and everyone was so friendly and it was a great atmosphere to be in and around! Thanks Acre Company for helping us with a very important decision in our life! When I moved out to Laramie in 2014 for school Shelley was quick to help me find the perfect house. Fast forward to 2018- when I was ready to sell Shelley reached out to me and made sure the process went just as smooth. She sold my house in two weeks, communicated with not only me but also my mom all the way in California. During the last few weeks before closing I moved out of state and Shelley checked on the house regularly, cleaned the house for the new owners and took out my trash! The ACRE company goes above and beyond for their clients and I couldn't thank them enough for making this process so easy for me!
Shelley did a great job helping us find a house that was perfect for us! We were first time homebuyers and lived in a different state and she made the process easy and enjoyable. She was always sending us updates and checking in on us. She was never pushy about anything and always made sure to look out for our best interests!
Can't give enough praise to the Acre Company for working with my wife and I to find a home in Laramie. We tried contact several other realtors in town but not one was on top of things like Acre Company. Jerry was there for us from day 1. He was our eyes and ears while our house was being built, reporting to us regularly with updates and photos. When we ran into issues with the mortgage, he was there to help and ultimately got us in contact with the right people in town to finally seal the deal.
